Even though home prices are increasing, interest rates may still remain low for the rest of the year.

We have a shortage of inventory, but we should be able to find a suitable place to each of our buyers. I found out that standard sales, reos and flips are the best to negotiate. 

Today, I was able to open escrow in an equity sale for a nice lady who has been trying to find a property for the last 3 months. With a 30 day escrow, she should be able to finally take advantage of these historically low mortgage rates and low home prices.

I am a proud member of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. I have met very nice business owners from whom I learned and shared business practices and ideas. I would like to mention the following companies because you can always use their service.

Rick Babur, MBA-BSME, SOLTEC AMERICA is a solar panel installation company. Installing a solar system can be very beneficial for any homeowner to save money and help the environment.

I also met Kadie Karcher from Legal Shield. I actually signed up for this legal service because in this industry, real estate, we will always need an attorney to consult with. I highly recomend this service. It is economic and very important to have.

I met Fernando Izagurre form Jardines y Funeraria DEL ANGEL, Fernando is in Bellflower CA, but they have many locations all over the place. They sell funeral services and plans. I don't have to mention that we all will at a certain point be in need of their service for either personal or family matters.

Mark Fleming, chief economist for Corelogic, states that the economy is still very uncertain. He presented foreclosure rates, unemployment levels and expectations of our future economy. 

Statistics showed that foreclosures have declined since last year. They are expecting the market to improve. 

Short sales are lately becoming more popular than foreclosures.
It is expected that lenders will support short sales more than any other strategy of home sales.

I am leaving to Fort Worth, Texas tomorrow, Monday June 11, 2012. There is going to be an REO Conference. Asset Managers, Lenders, Preservation Companies, Realtors, Real Estate Attorneys and many others will be attending because they want to learn and share ideas about the real estate market. This conference is mostly related to the process of foreclosures. I like to attend because I learn more about the economy, laws, and anything related to real estate. That way I am well informed, up to date and prepared to help my clients the best way possible.
