Open House with Great Attitude!

Good Attitude, Great Experiences!

Today, I had a plan for the day! Last night, before I went to bed, I decided to plan my day’s activity list. I knew that my day was going to be great because I just decided so. So I got up at 6:00 am, went to the gym for an hour as I had planned it last night. Then, I got all pretty and ready to go to do an open house. Seriously! I looked good; I felt good! It was an Awesome DAY!
While I put up my Open House Signs, I planned to distribute flyers for the open house in all the stores and shopping centers which were on my way.
You should have seen what a good response I received from almost every person I met! They liked me! I was so happy to tell them about my open house, they actually got excited for me.

It makes me feel the same way I did when I was a new agent who had never done any open houses?
FYI, I have been in the Real Estate business for 7 years.
I work almost 7 days a week and I do a lot of Open Houses.
The point is that today was different because I met a lot of wonderful people who wished me good luck and expressed a positive reception towards me!
I like people too.

Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressive / Maria Claudia

Massive Email to Be Resent
Maria Claudia / FOP

By Veronica Cabrera
July, 15 2012

Yesterday, I received an email about a case of a Peruvian girl who needed to find other cases like hers ( a incurable illness) she was asking to send her message to all our contacts. They were trying to find others with the same problem.

Immediately, I forward it to all my contacts hoping that it would be useful. After someone mentioned that it may not be real, I decided to search for more details. I found out the Little Claudia died in 2005. Even though this was a real case, there is no need to keep resending it.
I appreciate those who care, because there will always be someone who needs our time and cooperation.

Equal Housing Opportunity

Prohibited Practices of Real Estate
By, Veronica Cabrera
July, 6 2012

The Fair Housing Act prohibits discriminating against because of color, sex, religion, familial status, nationality or disability. It is against the law to threatening, intimidating, or interfering with the one’s desire of purchasing or renting certain property.
In the court case of Gladstone Realtors v. Village of Bellwood, a real estate firm was taken to court for steering. The following link provides information about this specific case

The Unite States Department of Justice website provides all the necessary information to avoid any of these rights violations.

Housing professionals have to be fair when providing services to the public. As long as the person qualifies for a loan and is capable to acquire a property, agents and lenders should be prompt and willing to help. It is our fiduciary obligation, as representatives, to advise and represent our clients in their best interest

Go Solar and Save Money

Solar System For Homeowners and Businesses
By Veronica Cabrera

SOLTEC AMERICA
855-4 SOLTEC

Homeowners and Business owners can save money by using Soltec Solar Systems. They can avoid their month energy bill for the use of electricity. With the new solar systems, homeowners as well as businessowners can have this system installed in their homes or businesses, and instead of paying the electrical bill, they can use that money to pay for the system itself. An estimated time to pay off the Soltec solar system is of 6 to 7 years (if  financed), according to Rick from Soltec America. People can also pay for it all in cash. Either way, the system will belong to the person or businss and they will not have to pay the elecric company for the energy anymore.
Having a solar system can improve the value of the property and will save even more money at long term because the cost of electricity increases with inflation. When people own the solar system, they do not have to worry about the monthly expense or the increases that occur over time.
