I am a professional real estate agent in the City of Huntington Beach, California. I would like to share my daily real estate and life experiences. I hope you enjoy my blog.
It is almost 5:00 p.m. and I am at Burger King doing
some work and studying while I up-date the blog. What you can see at the photo’s
background, besides my workplace, is the fast food playground. I brought
Valeria to play while I do my thing here.
After, play time, Valeria is going to a dance class. Yes, from 6pm-7pm she has dance class.
Wendoly, my daughter, left to Washington, DC
with a group from school today. I am already missing her. This is the first
time she will be traveling without me, except when she went to Mexico and had visited with my parents. I
am happy for her !!
I was planning to do an open house, but when I arrived at the
location, I could not stay, the place was not attractive at all, so I canceled it.
Although, I would like to express my appreciation and thank the listing agent for the opportunity. It was not my
listing. It was a repo/reo/foreclosed property.I decided to work from the office instead.
I appreciate the help that I have
from my assistants. One of them helps me with my current transactions. She sends
offers and any documentation needed to keep up with the files and daily changes that occur with my transactions. She also helps me train the two newer assistants. Teresa helped with
finding some properties and scheduling showing today at 5:00 p.m. She also put
some ads onlinefor the active listings. Adrian helped updating the websites, sites,
andonline
accounts. Because I just moved from First Team Real Estate to Realty One Group,
I need to make sure my information is correct. He did a lot of information updating there.
I did some personal tasks, and I assisted
them. That is important! ... Believe me, it is not easy to please me. I have a buyer
who is qualified for a condominium. She wants to buy in Anaheim, so I showed
her, 1800 Gramercy, 134 Magnolia, andone in Brookhurst Village. She may put an offer
on the Gramercy location.I
worked my real estate business from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. If I want to keep up with
the business, I have to work in the business everydaypersistently, and constantly.
1800 W. Gramercy # 8; is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath townhome. It is selling for $150,000.
It is been a good day today. Getting up at 5:30 to drop off Wendis (my
daughter) at 6:50 for school was a good beginning. I had Vale's (my second
daughter) school conference at 7:20 am, but first I had to stop at the office to pick
up;
-Flyers for tomorrow open house
-Buyer's list of houses to show at 5:00 pm
-Copy of properties to show to Antonia
-Drop Buyer's offer for Santa Ana Canyon Etc....
Then, I went to:
-Put signs up for my open house at Castle listing, and I went see the assistants at
the office to give them some assignments.
- (Actually, I had to do couple of personal things before the open house.)
- I was there untill 2:00 pm.. Obviously, I had my laptop at the open house
and kept
following up with the girls at the office, making client's calls, negotiating
with other agents offers, and much more!
-At 2:00 I had to picked up signs because I had to show the 1800 Gramercy #8
unit that came out available on the market At 3 pm. After that, I went to pick up Wendis, dropped
her off and went back to show Castle listing at 5:00 along with 112 Orangewood
Ave short sale property.
-I was done with my real estate things by 6:00 pm.. Don't forget I had my
assistant at the office from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm sending the offer that I dropped
off at 7 am from my yesterday showing. She also sent an offer to a new potential
buyer for my listing on Victorville. She got it back after awhile, and sent it to the seller
for signatures. She collected all the missing documents from Riva Ridge that I just
closed. She turned them to First Team Office for the File. She
also send an offer for the Sunday showing in Moreno valley ( Lukewood property)
On the other hand, another of my assistants ( Teresa) helped me look for houses and
schedule appointments to show tomorrow Friday 3/30/2012.
Adrian, a temporal assistant, helped finishing 400 pieces of mail outs.
Yup! We worked on:
A offer for Moreno Valley property ( Elio offer)
Finding houses to show tomorrow in Anaheim (For Antonia)
Checking houses to showing today at 3:00 pm ( Gramercy)
Doing a open house in Castle and showed it to a client of mine at 5:00 pm, plus one more property at Orangewood
Sending a offer, double-lended, to San Martin, VTVL CA listing
Prepared marketing material for my far, list of clients and absentee owners
Finished Riva Ridge file for the broker and much more..
Open House at 1307 W. Castle Ave Anaheim, CA
Don't think my day is over yet! After 6:00 pm my personal and very active life starts.. but I will save that for another time.
Dear diary, I decided to share my real estate (and other) experiences with the public. Some people think that realtors earn their money in a very easy way. What is even worse, some others, think that we cheat or use any invalid options to be able to make a commission. That couldn't be further from the thuth!
I personally, work very hard for the money I make. My day starts at 6am, and ends many times at midnight.. I started selling houses in 2005. With hard work and dedication, I became a top agent with Tarbell Realtors (the first real estate agency I started working with.) I was happy there.. I will tell you later what happened and why I moved to First Team Real Estate, the second real estate company I joined. I am currently working with Realty One Group. I like the company, the office and the system!
